Bekerja sama dengan Oslo University, JPP Fisipol UGM menawarkan peluang beasiswa program Power, Welfare and Democracy untuk studi S2 dan S3 di JPP. Power, Welfare and Democracy (PWD) merupakan proyek berbasis penelitian, yang dikelola bersama oleh Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) dan Universitas Olso (UiO).

Proyek ini dimaksudkan sebagai sebuah upaya strategis guna mendukung jaringan para aktivis pendorong kemajuan demokrasi di Indonesia. Ada sejumlah dana yang dialokasikan di dalam proyek ini untuk melibatkan para aktivis/peneliti/akademisi yang berkomitmen untuk mengambil bagian dalam mencapai misi proyek, dan pada saat yang sama memperoleh gelar master atau doktor di Universitas Gadjah Mada.
