Job Title: Consular and Information Officer/Interpreter

Area of Activity: Communication with Indonesian citizens and authorities, providing information, interpretation and translation, other administrative tasks

Working Conditions: Three-months contract followed by a permanent one in case of interest of both the employee and the Embassy. Five working days (40 hours) a week in the office located in Menteng, Central Jakarta. Competitive salary based on experience and qualification.

Sciences Po Summer School 2013

Sciences Po is currently reconducting Sciences Po Language Summer School in 2013. This year is a very special edition with two exceptional programmes, one hosted on our Paris campus and the other located on our Menton campus.

French and Social Sciences Programme, Paris, July 1st – 26th, 2013

  •     a 74 hour programme of French, at beginners’ level with small-sized classes and individual tutorials, or
  •     a 84 hour programme of French, intermediate and advanced levels, with rigorous language practice through theatre, workshops and classes about French history and institutional frameworks.

University of Tokyo – AIKOM Scholarship

The AIKOM program is open to those who will be third or fourth year undergraduates in good standing at Universitas Gadjah Mada at the time when the Program begins. Since the basic AIKOM Program is offered in English, non-native speakers should have sufficient English ability. A TOEFL score of at least 550 on the paper based test (213 CBT, 80 IBT) is preferred. Applicants should note that no courses are available in scientific or technical fields. While knowledge of the Japanese language or a major dealing with Japan are not required, students who have demonstrated a strong interest in Japan are preferable.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English
The minimum requirements for admission are:
TOEFL IBT: 100
IELTS: 7
CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English of the University of Cambridge): A-B-C
CAE (Certificate of Advanced English of the University of Cambridge): A-B
The Graduate Institute operates a bilingual policy which provides students with the right to express themselves and submit written work in either English or French in classes, regardless of the language through which the course is taught. While knowledge of the French language will offer students a more extensive range of course choices, it is not a requirement for admission.

ASTRA 1ST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2013

Sejak tahun 1974 Astra telah memperhatikan sektor pendidikan di Indonesia. Sebanyak 134.056 beasiswa telah diberikan. Sebagai wujud nyata dari kepedulian Astra terhadap sektor pendidikan di Indonesia dan Astra Strategy Roadmap, yaitu: Portofolio, People & Public Contribution, maka di setiap semester kedua setiap tahun, Astra memberikan beasiswa dan program mentoring selama 1 tahun dalam mengembangkan kompetensi teknis dan non-teknis atau yang biasa kita sebut dengan soft competencies. Program ini disebut Astra1st Development Program.

Penerima Beasiswa akan mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan seperti:

  1. Program Pengembangan Kepribadian yang komprehensif
  2. Donasi untuk studi sebesar Rp. 5.000.000,- / semester
  3. Kesempatan belajar (Magang) di Astra Group
  4. Mendapatkan Rp 5.000.000,- per orang untuk keterlibatan dalam proyek

New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards

The New Zealand-ASEAN Scholar Awards recognise New Zealand’s close cultural, economic, and geographic ties with Southeast Asia. They seek to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to contribute to the economic, social, and political development of their region.

Awards for students from Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam are managed by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Awards for Brunei and Singapore are managed by the awarding institution, Victoria University of Wellington.

Summer School Programme of the University of Geneva

The Antonio Cassese Initiative Summer School invites advanced law and international affairs students as well as junior professionals to participate. Lectures are given by leading experts and practitioners in the field.

Attendance to one of the two weeks of the Summer School is worth 3 ECTS (European Transfer Accreditation System); attendance to both weeks is worth 6 ECTS (European Transfer Accredation System).
