Position opening: CONSULAR AND INFORMATION OFFICER/ INTERPRETER

Job Title: Consular and Information Officer/Interpreter
Area of Activity: Communication with Indonesian citizens and authorities, providing information, interpretation and translation, other administrative tasks
Working Conditions: Three-months contract followed by a permanent one in case of interest of both the employee and the Embassy. Five working days (40 hours) a week in the office located in Menteng, Central Jakarta. Competitive salary based on experience and qualification.
Job Content: The job has two basic components: communicating with Indonesian citizens and authorities on visa and consular matters in close cooperation with the Czech Consular Officer and according to his/her directives and providing translation and interpretation from Indonesian to English and vice versa for the Czech staff.
Qualification:
• University degree, preferably with English as a major subject
• Fluency in English and Indonesian, written and spoken
• Excellent interpretation skills between English and Indonesian
• Proficiency in using office software (MS Office)
Personal Skills:
• Ability to organize work and keep deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and commitment/enthusiasm
• Ability to learn new things and adjust working habits to needs and requirements
